Arginine![]() |
||||
As with all amino acids, excellent sources of arginine include meat, poultry, fish, eggs, and milk products, such as yogurt, milk, cheese, and cottage cheese.
Grains, cereals, nuts, and chocolate also provide arginine.
Most people consume more protein-rich foods than are needed by the body; consequently, a deficiency of arginine is unlikely except in cases of severe malnutrition.
