Major: Urinary tract infections.

Minor: Suppression of symptoms of bacterial infections, prevention of vitamin C deficiency. Juice decreases the urine-degradation rates and odor formation in incontinent patients. Cranberry may decrease the recurrence of urinary stones.

Actions: Antiscorbutic, bacteriostatic activity for urinary tract infections, antibacterial, anti-adhesion activity to mucous membranes (inhibits E. coli colonization in the urinary tract).
