D Vitamin![]() |

The only foods that contain reliable amounts of vitamin D are vitamin D-fortified milk, cod liver oil, or oily fish, such as herring, salmon, and sardines.
Milk contains 100IU of vitamin D per cup, so 4 cups supplies the Daily Value. Other milk products, such as yogurt or cheese, are not fortified with vitamin D.
Small amounts of the vitamin are found in egg yolks, butter, liver, and cream. Some breakfast cereals are fortified with vitamin D.
